Abstract
The ongoing crisis is analysed as the result of the neoclassic panglossian paradigm that leads to a systematic adverse selection of free riders ruining diversity and trust, the sine qua non conditions of a robust growth based on sound interactions. Indeed, diversity and trust allow strong monetary conditions, cognitive flexibility, creativity through knowledge transfer, adaptation to changing conditions, resistance to propagation of crisis. In this context restauring trust suppose credible commitment in restauring diversity implying a redistribution of wealth, and a reorientation of funds towards the soundest economic structures regarding environmental and social criteria.
